The 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport locations are generally newer and have more group classes. It’s a good option if you live close to one.

Otherwise, the cheaper Sport Club membership is probably sufficient.

It seems like 24 Hour Fitness have really benefited from their alliance with Costco, and they’ve been increasing their prices.

This Super Sport membership was only $599.99 when they first offered it at Costco in May 2013, and it’s now $100 higher.

But even with this price increase, it’s still cheaper than joining through 24 hour fitness itself, where the monthly fee is about $50 and there’re silly fees like initiation fee and annual fee.
