Coco Libre Organic Coconut Water

While looking for the Vita Coco Coconut water, we actually first came across the Coco Libre Organic Coconut Water.
It was prominently displayed along with many other organic items at Costco.
This Coco Libre Organic Coconut Water is:
- 100% organic coconut water
- Contains electrolytes K, NA, Mg, CA and P
- 43 calories per 8 oz. serving and contains more potassium than a banana.
- No added sugar (Vita Coco has less than 1% added natural fruit sugars)
- Fat Free
- Cholesterol Free
- Gluten Free
It is available in a 4-pack of 1 liter (33.8 oz) cartons. They have an approximate 12 month shelf life.
The 4-pack is sold at $11.99 or 8.9 cents/oz.
As a side note, Vita Coco Coconut Water is about 8.3 cents/oz.
Have you tried Coco Libre (or Vita Coco)? We haven’t though I’ve to admit that I’m a bit curious.
We’ve bought real green coconuts from the grocery store and drank the coconut water that way. It was a challenge opening them but worth the effort.
I’ve to wonder if Coco Libre tastes as good as the fresh coconut water? Hoping Costco will have one of those sample carts for this!
