Are you ready for Costco’s February 2014 Coupon Book? Coz it’s here already!

The new coupons don’t start till next Thursday 01/30/14 but we received the coupon book today.

Besides the normal instant savings, there is a separate deal for Procter and Gamble (P&G) products.

Spend $100 (pre-tax amount) or more on any P&G products in Costco in February and March 2014, and get a $20 Costco Cash Card back.

Terms listed:

  • Only P&G products purchased at Costco warehouses and Costco.com between 01/31/14 and 03/31/14 qualify
  • Limit 2 promotional Costco cash cards per household
  • You will need to go to costco.com/pg-rebate to complete a form which must be mailed with the original receipts, postmarked no later than 05/01/14
  • Participating Brands:¬†Align, Always, Bounce, Bounty, Braun, Cascade, Charmin, Cheer, ClearBlue, Crest, Dawn, Downy, Dreft, Duracell, Febreze, Fekkai , Gain, Gillette, Glide, Head and Shoulders, Iams, Joy, Metamucil, Mr. Clean, Olay, Oral-B, Pantene, Pepto-Bismol, Prilosec OTC, Puffs, Secret, Swiffer, Tampax, Tide, Venus, Vicks
  • Costco Cash Cards will be mailed out approximately 6 to 8 weeks after program close

Seems like a pretty good offer. If you normally purchase these brands anyway, then why not purchase them during those dates and get some extra money back?

February’s coupons are valid from Thursday 01/30/14 to Sunday 02/23/14.

My mom always argues that she doesn’t need to use the coupon book because the costco cashier already applies the discount. Is this true?

    • Olli

      Hi Andres,
From our experience, it depends on the store. Some stores automatically give everyone the discounts and don’t need you to show the coupon book at checkout. The cashier told me that it was to speed up the checkout line. But others may still want to see the book when if the item says “Book or app required” in the coupon book. We normally just wave the coupon book and ask “do you need this?” at checkout.
      Hope this help,
      Olli

Hey, let me first say thanks for running the site, Olli and Andy. I use it often when I am on the fence about particular purchases and whether or not they are indeed “good deals”.

I just wanted to add that the P&G discount (Spend $100, get a gift card back) was upped to $33 when I went in store last week. The promotion still ends on 03/31. I am in the Los Angeles area, but it seemed like a mass-produced promotion photo. It was posted around the other P&G products and looked like the photo in the coupon book.

      hi Carphen,
Glad you find this site useful :)
Thanks for mentioning that revised P&G offer. We did spot this in the store last week. Meant to confirm the change and then post it so thanks for the reminder! Are you planning to take advantage of this offer?
