Why turn on the big oven on a hot day when you can use a smaller one like the Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven?

This might not work if you have a large family but it really works for a small household like ours.

Ever since getting our Cuisinart toaster oven several years ago, we don’t use our large oven that often anymore.

I like our large oven for broiling and handling larger food items like turkey or Costco’s pizza, but the toaster oven is so much easier and faster for everything else.

It preheats to 400 F in like 5 minutes and because it’s small it doesn’t heat up the entire kitchen.

Features of this Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven, Model# CTO-1300PC:

– 1800 Watts of power

– Multiple cooking options e.g. convection bake, broil, toast, bagel, bake, pizza

– 0.6 cubic-foot; holds a 12″ pizza, 6 slices of bread or a whole chicken

– Convection fan to bake faster and more evenly

– LED display, touchpad controls, and digital timer

The Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven  is priced at $79.99.

Item number 1019850.

I’m trying to figure out the difference between the item reviewed and the Deluxe Convection Toaster Counter-top Oven which is almost $50 more. Is it bigger? Does it have more features?

    • bikerboy

The more expensive one is built much more solidly with more features, but is shorter. Same cubic feet according to cuisinart. I’m very happy with the deluxe model.

    • bikerboy

The deluxe model is full stainless steel, where the model reviewed is only stainless on the front.

Thanks for the reply, bikerboy! It would have taken me a long while to figure that out! 🙂
