You can schedule automatic backup of your files with the preloaded software.

There’s a bonus of 10 GB of cloud storage with popoplug which is pretty neat.

It’s formatted NTFS and compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.

It’s also compatible with Max OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.6 or above), Lion and Mountain Lion with included NTFS driver for Mac.
