2012 Provenance Sauvignon Blanc
We spotted the 2012 Provenance Sauvignon Blanc at Costco this weekend. Sauvignon Blanc is Provenance’s only white wine and made its debut in 2003.
Here’s the tasting notes for the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc – “Vibrant lemon–lime, guava and kiwi aromas are graced by nuances of lemongrass, orange blossom and slate in our Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc. Bright tropical fruit, tangerine and nectarine notes dance across the silky palate and then culminate in a tangy finish with a lingering hint of minerality and oak spice. This wine’s fresh, lively acidity makes it an excellent pairing for appetizers and salads, such as bruschetta with tomatoes and basil pesto or a Dungeness crab and avocado salad with citrus dressing.”
The 2012 Provenance Sauvignon Blanc is normally priced at $15.89.
There’s now a $3 unadvertised instant rebate which lowers the price to $12.89.
The discount is valid till 09/22/13.
