3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Shipping Tape – Costco vs Target

There’re many things that we buy from Costco and don’t ever look at them in other stores. We really don’t know how much they cost in other stores. One example is the 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Shipping Tape.

We recently went to Target and was quite surprised to see how much it costs there.

It was priced at $6.74 for a 65.6 yard roll.

If you had not read our post on the 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Shipping Tape, we’ll remind you that at Costco, they come in an 8-pack, normally for $23.49 for 436 yards.

But there’s currently a $7 instant savings which lowers the price to only $16.49.

In summary, the cost of  per yard of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Shipping Tape:

At Target:  10.3 cents

At Costco without instant savings: 5.4 cents

At Costco with instant savings: 3.8 cents

Is Costco Cheaper? Yes!

At regular prices, Costco is 48% cheaper than Target.

With instant savings, Costco is 63% cheaper than Target.
