Here is the Wine Spectator’s review – “Pure, powerful and minerally tasting, with good snap to the raspberry and wild plum flavors, which feature notes of savory herb. The vibrant finish puts the accent on slate and white pepper. Drink now through 2018. 3,000 cases made ”

Here are the winemaker’s notes for this wine – Deep red color with complex notes of blackberries and coca. Elegant, round and full bodied with rich aromas of ripe plums and roasted coffee. This well-balanced wine will age gracefully. Best served at 60F with beef, sausages and pasta with red sauce.
