PUBLISHED 01/30/14: The Delta Breez Bath Ventilation Fan is an 80 CFM DC Brushless Motor Fan that comes with a humidity sensor so the motor self-adjusts depending on the humidity levels in your bathroom.

There’s even LED indicator lights to show when it’s on humidity-sensing mode vs full speed mode.

As with all bathroom fans, noise is a concern but this fan appears to be very quiet with a noise level of less than 0.3 sones. Supposedly typical AC motor fans are about 0.8 sones.

It’s Energy Star qualified and claims to be 6 times more efficient than the Energy Star requirements.
