Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum
I was wondering how this Dyson DC39 is different from the other DC39 Costco had in the store previously. I finally realized that this DC39 is a Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum while the other was a DC39 Animal Plus Canister Vacuum.
The Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum claims:
- No bag – this vacuum cleaner uses cyclone technology. It spins the air/dirt mix at a very high rate of speed, forcing it into the collection canister.
- No loss of suction – the microscopic holes in a bag get clogged with dirt as it fills up, leading to reduced airflow and loss of suction. Since there is no bag, there is no loss of suction.
- No awkward moves – the ball used for steering has a very tight turning radius and low center of gravity, following the user easily.
This vacuum works on every floor type: carpet, tile, vinyl, wood. No need to bend down to adjust for floor height, this is done with a switch right on the handle.
The collection canister is clear, so you can easily see when it fills up. Emptying it as simple as popping out the canister, holding it over a trash can, and pressing a button.
