This very nice Garmin Forerunner 610 is great for those who like a running workout.

3) a Footpod.  This tiny devices attaches to your shoelaces, and senses your foot movements.  It calculates cadence, and if you’re running indoors where GPS might not work (e.g. in the winter) will also record distance.  The info is passed to the watch via bluetooth.
