HBO Series Digital HD
You can now purchase one of 4 HBO Series in Digital HD at Costco! This is a great option for those that love HBO series but don’t subscribe to the channel.
The shows available are:
- Game of Thrones, Season 1-2
- True Blood, Seasons 1 to 6
- Boardwalk Empire, Season 1 to 5
- True Detective, Season 1
Once you’ve purchased the season, you’ll be able to redeem it at the Flixster Movie Store. You can then stream the drama in HD and watch it on your TV, PC, tablet or smartphone.
You also have the option to download the drama and watch it offline which is a great option when traveling.
One thing we noticed in the fine print is that HD is currently only available for streaming. Downloads are available in standard definition only. This may be OK if you’re watching the show on a smaller screen but it definitely won’t look as nice as HD.
The HBO Series Digital HD is priced at $23.99 per season per show.
