PUBLISHED 09/07/14: There’s finally a new version of the Logitech Remote. For a few years now, it’s been the Harmony 700 but we now see a Logitech Harmony Touch Universal Remote in the store.

This one remote replaces up to 15 remotes which is almost double of what the Harmony 700 could do.

We have a Harmony 700 and have programmed it to control the TV, receiver, XBox, DVD Player/Blu-Ray, DVR, etc. so it definitely helps to get rid of all the other remotes cluttering your coffee table.

There are a few other new features:

– the swipe and tap touch screen so it is a bit more like a smartphone

– back-lit buttons

– sleep timer which turns off all devices

– charging station
