UPDATE 03/15/14: Spotted a $10 instant rebate for the Rowenta Master Steam Iron DW9150. Price is $59.99 till 06/30/14 or while supplies last.
PUBLISHED 07/22/13: Rowenta irons are expensive. Is it because they’re made in Germany? Or are they really superior in quality? Or both?
We haven’t bought an iron in many years and I think it’s time to get a new one.
We’ve put up with the “spitting” and water spots for long enough! Surely there’s better technology out there. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking since ironing is NOT on my top 10 favorite things-to-do list 😉
So we’re currently checking to see which irons Costco carries in the store. The inventory changes frequently, of course, but currently Costco carries the Rowenta Master Steam Iron DW9150 for $69.99.
Some of the features highlighted on the box were:
- Powerful Burst of Steam
- Vertical Steam
- Variable Steam
- High Precision Tip
- 3-Way Shut-Off
- Comfort Handle
- Anti-drip System
- Anti-Calcium System
- Scratch Resistant Sole Plate with INOX Stainless Steel
- 1750 Watts
- Made in Germany
The Rowenta Master Steam Iron DW9150 is priced at $69.99.
Item number is 636681.
