Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Tablet is probably a closeout item. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-Inch Tablet is already here and there’s also the more expensive Samsung Note 8″ Tablet. Costco currently has all three, sometimes not all in the same store.

The main differences between the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and Galaxy Tab 3 7-Inch Tablet are:

– The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Tablet does not have a front-facing camera.

– The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Tablet has a 1.0 GHz Dual Core processor (vs 1.2 GHz on the Tab 3)

– The micro SD slot is capable up to 32 GB only (vs 64 GB on the Tab 3).

They both run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and have a 1024 x 600 display.

The  Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Tablet is priced at $189.99 but there’s currently an unadvertised $30 instant rebate.

This lowers the price to $159.99.

The instant rebate is valid till 07/27/13.
