Shun Sora 8-Piece Cutlery Set

Spotted the Shun Sora 8-Piece Cutlery Set at Costco again. This appears to be the same set that was offered last year but with a new packaging design.

The knives are made in Japan with 16 degree edge, which is supposedly sharper than comparable western knives which are sharpened to 22-25 degrees.

Shun Sora uses a proprietary Composite Blade technology to combine a VG10 “Super Steel” cutting edge with a Japanese 420J stainless steel upper.
