TAG Heuer Carrera – Silver Dial

 Costco is carrying another TAG Heuer Carrera, this one with a Silver Dial.  As usual for this brand, the watch is a real jewel.  It appears to be the CAR2111.BA0724 Carrera Silver Dial Chronograph.

The watch is automatic, so no battery to change ever.

The main feature is a stopwatch, which is operated by the nice solid push-buttons that you see in the photo.

There’s also a tachymeter scale on the watch, which let’s you calculate average speed.  This is useful for calculating the speed of a vehicle or athlete over a known distance (e.g. in a race).

There’s also a date window, and a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
