Cold brew coffee is not cheap. You can potentially save money by brewing it yourself with the Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker.

Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker Costco

The set includes two 1 Qt airtight pitchers, one fine-mesh coffee infuser and a recipe and user guide.

To brew coffee, add about 14-16 tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee into the infuser. Fill pitcher with 4 cups water, let sit for 12 to 24 hours, then pour and enjoy.

Supposedly, the traditional way of brewing coffee with hot water releases acids, oils and a bitter flavor.

A cold brew creates coffee that’s well-balanced, smooth, and concentrated.

We haven’t tried it yet but we do have a set of the Takeya pitchers previously available at Costco and one came with a tea infuser that looks like this coffee infuser. Maybe we can use it to cold brew coffee?

Have you tried cold brew coffee and is it worth it?

BPA-free.

Made in USA (but infuser and silicone o-rings are Made in China)/
