2010 Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2010 Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley was awarded 90 points by the Wine Enthusiast.
Here’s their review – “For the price, you get a Cabernet that show some pretty good Napa character. It’s ripe and forward with black currants with tough tannins and a hit of sweet oak. Lots going on, and could even age for a few years. If you drink it now, give it a couple hours of airing.”
Here’s the winemaker’s description of this wine –
The 2010 Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine of great personality, with aromas of fresh red-fruits and blackcurrant scents dominating the nose. It is quick to express itself on the palate with harmonious flavors of cassis, blackberry, cigar box, dark chocolate and vanilla spice. Length, and finesse on the palate, a finely balanced wine of substance with firm structure and silky tannins. This is a benchmark wine that Twenty Bench is proud to represent their 10th anniversary vintage.
Blend: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
