Four Monks White Distilled Vinegar

Did you know you can get 2 gallons of Four Monks White Distilled Vinegar for under $4 at Costco?

It took us a while to finish the 2 gallons but we recently had to get another box from Costco.

You may think you don’t need 2 gallons of vinegar but did you know you can use it for many purposes e.g. to clean glassware, toilet bowl, bathtub, and greasy stovetop residue, to remove stale coffee residues, etc.

Our favorite use of vinegar to get rid of “fishy” or cooking smells in the house. We love to eat fish but unfortunately, the smell lingers in the house when you cook it. No more!

Just pour some vinegar and water into a small pan, heat it up to boiling for a few minutes, turn off the stove and let the pan sit overnight. The smell is completely gone the next morning. It’s really better than Febreze 🙂

You can use this method every time you cook something more pungent in the house e.g. curry, etc.
