GE LED Lantern

PUBLISHED 07/25/13: This GE LED Lantern would be great for camping but it could also be very useful in the backyard and during a power outage. It has “Super Bright White LED Technology” with 300 Lumens.

The lantern uses the Intematix patented remote phosphor technology which provides 360 degrees of white light.

Another interesting feature is that it works with either 4 or 8 of the Type-D batteries.

With 4 batteries, it can run for 50 hours on the High setting and 100 hours on Low setting.

With 8 batteries, it can run for 100 hours on the High setting and 200 hours on Low setting.

Batteries are NOT included. This would be a good time to use the Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries with the D spacers.

The GE LED Lantern is priced at $19.99 each.
