PUBLISHED 03/04/14: There’s a new Vitamix at Costco. It’s the Vitamix 6300 which features 3 Pre-programmed settings (smoothies, frozen desserts, hot soups), variable speed control and a pulse function.

The Vitamix representative was whipping up a batch of hot soup using this blender while we were in the store. It appeared to be a simple way to make a nutritious soup for lunch or dinner.

This Vitamix boasts various features including:

– Powerful 2 hp motor which propels the blade tip up to 240 mph

– Metal-to-metal, container-to-base coupling

– BPA-free, shatter-proof container with 64 oz capacity

– Spill-proof lid
