To get to them, lay the bean flat and cut lengthwise. Open the bean and scrape the seeds out of the pod. It’s that easy.

Vanilla beans are very expensive in other stores. I made the mistake of buying them at Safeway once. Never again! I don’t remember the exact price but will do a post on the price comparison soon.
