It may be time to replace our old receiver so we’ve been checking out what Costco has to offer. One of the ones currently available in the store is this Sony Receiver Model#STR-DN840.

It is designed to enable a great home entertainment system.  You can drive powerful, full surround sound, with rear speakers and sub-woofer.  Also easily connect to a wide variety of video and audio sources.

It’s quite similar to the Yamaha 7.2 Channel receiver except for the 2 zone capability.
