Suntory Whisky Toki

The Suntory Whisky Toki might make a good gift for the “whisky-enthusiast”.

Japanese whisky has become more mainstream in the last few years and we’ve seen a few appear at Costco during the holiday season.

We don’t know much about whisky but a search revealed that Toki is “a blend of selected malt and grain whiskies from the Hakushu, Yamazaki, and Chita distilleries”.

Tasting notes listed on the Suntory website:

– Nose: basil, green apple, honey

– Palate: grapefruit, green grapes, peppermint, thyme

– Finish: subtly sweet and spicy finish with a hint of vanilla oak, white pepper and ginger

You can drink it neat or on the rocks, perhaps with one of those ice spheres made with the Tovolo molds! 🙂

By the way, Toki means “time” in Japanese.

The Suntory Whisky Toki is priced at $38.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
