Silk Organic Soy Milk – Costco vs Safeway

PUBLISHED 06/20/14: A weekly item in our cart, the Silk Organic Vanilla Soy Milk, comes in a 3-pack of 1/2 gallon (64 oz) cartons. It’s priced at $6.99 for the 3-pack. Item number 395983. Unit price is 3.64 cents/oz.

Costco also carries the Silk regular/plain soy milk for the same price.

This is one item we haven’t bothered to compare costs before. But since we’re writing this, we decided to look at Safeway’s price. It costs $3.79 per half gallon for the Silk Soy Milk at Safeway.

Costco: $6.99 for 3 half gallon Silk Soy Milk

Safeway: $11.37 for 3 half gallon Silk Soy Milk

Conclusion: Costco is 39% cheaper!

Now, Safeway may have sales which would reduce the price of the soy milk but it’s just so much easier to buy them at Costco’s everyday price.
