Balance Grow Honey Citron Tea
The Balance Grow Honey Citron Tea is made of 75% sliced citron and 6% sundry honey.
Citron Tea is very popular in South Korea and if my research is correct, citron is called “Yuja” in Korean and “Yuzu” in Japan.
While we’ve not had this citron tea, we’ve had soju, sake, and even sparkling sake flavored with Yuja/Yuzu and we really liked it. I even tried yuzu vinegar in Japan and it was really good.
The citron flavor is sometimes described as a combination of lemon, lime and grapefruit. It has a distinct aroma though.
You can add 2-3 teaspoons of the Honey Citron Tea to hot or cold water and drink it. Or it can be used as jam on bread or crackers.
You can even mix it with salad as a dressing.
I’m curious as to what it tastes like so I think we’ll pick up a bottle to try.
