This is the saltiest corned beef I’ve ever had. It pretty much made our St Patrick’s dinner much less enjoyable.

Sorry to hear that, Kathy. We didn’t take a photo of it this year but looking at last year’s photo, the sodium was listed as 1470 mg per 4 oz. Did you happen to see if this year’s amount was more than that?

      • Kathy Mack

Actually, is says 1140 for four ounces but I think it’s much saltier than that.

We have been purchasing Shenson Corned Beef from COSTCO for years. They have always been very good but this year they were so salty, we couldn’t eat them. My daughter said hers was the same way. I think COSTCO will be receiving a lot of requests for refunds.

Sorry to hear that, norcaltc…Must have been so disappointing šŸ™

I took my receipt to COSTCO today and they gladly refunded the money for the purchase. COSTCO is great!

I concur with the other comments. Do not buy this, it turned out really dry and inedible. The worst corned beef I’ve ever had. Upon closer inspection, I realized this was Round cut, not Brisket.
