Vitamix 5300S

PUBLISHED 03/23/15: You can purchase Vitamix blenders at Costco when they have their special event and demonstration. But sometimes, Costco has a separate Vitamix model available in the store when there’s no Vitamix roadshow. Previously, it was the Vitamix 5200S but that appears to have been replaced by this newer Vitamix 5300S.

Note that the Costco price tag listed this model as 5300S but it’s printed as Vitamix 5300 on the box.

This model appears to have a similar base as the 5200 and 6300 models but with a stronger 2.2 hp motor. You get the variable speed control with a pulse feature with this model.

It comes with the new low profile, BPA-free 64 oz container.

The package includes a recipe book but no DVD.

And as always, it comes with a 7-year warranty.

Vitamix 5300S is priced at $399.99.
