Costco carries Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil in three SAE grades: 10W-30, 5W-20 and 5W-30. All three grades are priced the same. They are packaged in six 1-quart bottles per box.
The regular price is $36.99 for the six quarts. There’s a $10 instant savings (no coupon needed but item limit 3) in June’s coupon book, bringing the price down to $26.99. There is a $0.43 oil fee (California).
The discount is valid from 06/13/13 to 07/07/13.
While supplies last. Inventory and pricing at your store may vary.
This is a great value for owners of vehicles that use synthetic motor oil. Generally, most oil changers charge a fix price for oil change up to 5 quarts. Unfortunately, our car needs an extra quart.
Speedee charges $10 more for that one extra quart!
Anyway, most places charge extra for the synthetic oil so you can save some money by buying it from Costco when there’s the extra discount and taking it to the oil changer.
You can call around and ask but generally, I think you can save $10-$20 by doing this.
At the very least, if your car needs that extra quart, bring it and save $10!
