Sampled the Morningstar Farms Chipotle Black Bean Burger at Costco recently and it actually tasted pretty good.
These burgers are made of black beans, onions, brown rice, corn, tomatoes, and bell peppers, etc.
They are kept frozen until ready to use.
There are 12 burgers in a box.
You can either cook them in a skillet for about 12-14 minutes on medium heat, or in a microwave for about 2 minutes, or in the oven for about 20 minutes at 375 F.
We were about to place a box in the cart until we saw the words “Produced with Genetic Engineering” on the box.
Not sure we like that so we ended up not purchasing it.
What do you think? Do you purchase foods that’s labeled with the words genetic engineering?
The Morningstar Farms Chipotle Black Bean Burgers are normally priced at $14.69.
There’s currently a $5 rebate which reduces the price to $9.69.
